Who we are

Ivan, the Founder & Managing Partner at PCG, is a former Principal at Bain Capital Special Situations where he was head of Iberia and Cyprus, having invested close to €1 billion in real estate transactions across the capital stack.

Before Bain Capital, Ivan worked at Blackstone and graduated top of his year from the University of Cambridge and holds an MBA from Wharton

Pablo is the former head of Iberia for J.P. Morgan’s securitised products group, with 16 years of experience structuring, managing and enforcing asset-backed funding in Spain and Portugal (and other European credit markets). Prior to J.P. Morgan, Pablo was a director at Fitch Ratings leading the RMBS group for UK and Ireland.

Pablo holds a Business Administration degree from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa.

Manuel has 4 years of principal investing experience working at Apollo and Lone Star Funds in London, focusing on special situations and asset-backed investments across Europe, before which he spent 2 years at Deloitte UK advising institutional investors on the acquisition of non performing exposures from financial institutions.

Manuel holds a BsC in Economics and MsC in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.

Joao is currently a partner at ActiveCap, a mid-market PE Investor and senior advisor to Bain Capital and active real estate investor. Previously co-founder and CIO at Whitestar (the largest and most successful special servicer in Portugal) and MD at Arrow Global. ~30 years of experience across investment banking, rating agencies and investment firms such as ABN Amro, RBS, Fitch Ratings, DBRS, Arrow Global.

Joao holds a BA in Economics from University of Lisbon, a Masters in Economics from Manchester Business School and an AMP degree from INSEAD

Jose joins Panthium with over 25 years of real estate experience, including as head of
valuations and advisory for Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield and Aura REE for both Spain and Portugal. Jose is on the Internation Valuations Standards Council and President of RICS PT.

Jose holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from ISEG in Lisbon and a Master in Real Estate Finance from ISCTE.
